PALS - We took the summer off. Next meeting is in September.
SOS - We paid a visit to Louise Sutton and Barbara Bowley at their home where we were treated to a Trunk Show of family quilts made by women in their family. A number of these quilts used original patterns and the workmanship was outstanding. We had fun trying to date the fabrics in the quilts as well as admiring the fine needlework. And then we finished off the evening with a dessert of homemade, fresh apricot cobbler topped with ice cream. Thank you Louise and Barbara for sharing your family treasures with us.
You are invited to join our Appliqué Friendship Group. We meet on the second Friday morning of each month from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at Karin Crawford‘s home, 29 Hacienda Drive, Arcadia, (626) 355-7451. Bring your hand work and any Show 'n Tell.
